Vaia flashcards algorithm explained

In order to maximize your learning while studying with flashcards, we have developed an intelligent algorithm to optimize the order of your flashcards.

The order of your flashcards is determined primarily by the following factors

Flashcards comprehension:

The better you understand an flashcard, the less often it will be displayed to you. That is, flashcards that you have marked as unclear or uncertain will be shown more often than flashcards that you have understood. Accordingly, you repeat more difficult topics more often than easier ones.

Last answer to the flashcards:

The longer you have not answered a flashcard, the more likely you are to see it next. This prevents forgetting the concepts of your flashcards and encourages them to be absorbed into your long-term memory.

Flashcards Rating:

The better the flashcards has been rated by your fellow students and you, the more often it will be displayed to you. Poorly rated flashcards will be displayed less often and, above a certain threshold, will not be displayed at all.
